To any of the people who worship the Norse Pantheon, can I ask a question? How do you feel about Marvel using the Norse gods as superheroes? The reason I am asking this is because Stan Lee and Jack Kirby have been doing it since the 1950s through 1960s and I was wondering how you felt about the Marvel version? Another reason is because a woman on Ted-Ed who also worships the Norse Pantheon thinks they mock her pantheon, even though (and this is my opinion so please don't BloodEagle me for it) that the comics did get people's attention to the Norse Pantheon. So, what do you think?
I think it's fiction, like any other. It used to bug me. What bugs me now is not what they do, but how. Like most modern films it's more about cheap money, vapid dialogue, and arbitrary pandering. A mere money suck.

Okay then, it's just what that woman said bothered me, because without the Marvel comics, not that many people would know who any of the Norse pantheon even if some of them such as the Warriors Three aren't part of Norse canon or Loki's parents having their names switched
